We display this data to make it more accessible and searchable for Florida homeowners and businesses. We do not create, modify, or certify the underlying license records.

2. Data May Not Be Real-Time

Our database is updated periodically from DBPR public records. This means the information displayed on FloridaContractorCheck.com may not reflect the most recent changes to a contractor's license status, including:

• License renewals or expirations
• Suspensions or revocations
• Disciplinary actions or complaints
• Changes to license type, scope, or conditions
• Address or contact information updates

When a contractor is labeled as "Licensed" or shown with an active license on FloridaContractorCheck.com, this means our records — pulled from DBPR — showed an active license status at the time of our last data update.

This does not mean:

• The license is currently active (verify at myfloridalicense.com)
• The contractor is qualified, competent, or recommended by us
• The contractor is insured or bonded
• The contractor has no complaints or disciplinary history
• We have independently verified any information the contractor has provided

Featured contractors should be evaluated with the same diligence as any other contractor.
